Walking on Llanstephan Beach

A group of people enjoying the last light of the day as they have a gentle evening stroll towards the castle standing on the hill in the distance.

Llansteffan stands at the mouth of the river Towy. It is a pretty village with shops, pub and of course a castle. There are excellent walks along the beach up the river to the boat club and in the other direction you can walk easily to Scott's Bay and Wharley point. Remember to check the tides when walking on the beach. A steep climb will get you to the castle but the views from there are well worth the effort.
