View from Scotts Bay towards Ferryside

As you travel south along the shore you come to a lovely little bay called Scott's Bay. This is the view across the incomming tide and you can see Ferryside and St. Ishmaels on the end of the land.

Llansteffan stands at the mouth of the river Towy. It is a pretty village with shops, pub and of course a castle. There are excellent walks along the beach up the river to the boat club and in the other direction you can walk easily to Scott's Bay and Wharley point. Remember to check the tides when walking on the beach. A steep climb will get you to the castle but the views from there are well worth the effort.
