Wet Sands and Distant Castle
The tide is on it's way out and the sun is setting and just catching the taller structures of the castle on top of the hill.
Llansteffan stands at the mouth of the river Towy. It is a pretty village with shops, pub and of course a castle. There are excellent walks along the beach up the river to the boat club and in the other direction you can walk easily to Scott's Bay and Wharley point. Remember to check the tides when walking on the beach. A steep climb will get you to the castle but the views from there are well worth the effort.
