Cenarth Falls is the first significant waterfall on the river Teifi in the village of Cenarth. On the border of Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire this pretty little waterfall is a popular place to visit. There are lovely riverside walks and in late summer and autumn the salmon can be seen jumping the falls to get to their spawning grounds. Spanning the just below the falls is a stone build three arched bridge. this is the oldest structure in the village of Cenarth and dates back to 1785-87. there has been a bridge here since the 12th century.The mill on the bank of the falls was first mentioned in 1180's. The present mill which is built from rubble stone dates back to the 18th century.
